Thumb Bank & Trust Annual Report

Concept

This project explores the balance between professionalism and visual engagement within corporate financial communication. The concept centers around translating the bank’s established brand identity into a structured, modern editorial layout that enhances readability while maintaining trust and credibility. A clean, minimal design approach was used to reflect transparency, stability, and clarity—key values in the financial industry. Strategic use of white space, hierarchy, and brand color accents guides the reader through complex information in a clear and approachable way.

Description

I designed a multi-page annual report booklet for a bank, focusing on presenting company updates and organizational highlights in a visually engaging yet professional format. Rather than emphasizing data-heavy elements, the design highlights the people and community behind the brand—featuring imagery of board members, employees, community events, locations, and the chairman’s report.

The layout prioritizes clarity and flow, using clean typography, intentional spacing, and strong visual hierarchy to guide the reader through each section. Imagery plays a key role in storytelling, helping to humanize the brand and create a stronger connection with the audience. The final design stays aligned with the bank’s established branding while elevating the overall presentation to feel modern, approachable, and easy to navigate.
